North 24 PGS Karate-Do Association is the sole district body of Karate-Do Association of Bengal(KAB) which is governing body of Sports Karate In West Bengal. District Association also recognised by Bengal Olympic Association.
Association conduct district tournament for selection to State Championship which is also the platform to National Championship. So the district association is the grass root level to encourage karatekas to promote state, National, International tournament under World Karate Federation (WKF) which is the world's highest body of Sports Karate. Not Only that district body is also responsible for Commonwealth Karate Games as well as Asian Karate Federation's tournament.
